My Beautiful Dream about Africa

My Beautiful Dream About Africa

Africa is a continent with clearly determined and absolutely accurate borders bounded on the west by the Atlantic Ocean , on the north by the Mediterranean Sea, on the east by the Red Sea and the Indian Ocean , and on the south by the mingling waters of the Atlantic and Indian oceans. Being a continent with enormous wealth of mineral resources, Africa is highly blessed with some of the world’s largest reserves of fossil fuels, metallic ores, gems and precious metals which presents tremendous investment opportunities in these areas, firmly perched as a most favored investment and industrial destination in the world which would not only support the local economy but also deliver significant yields to foreign investors.

The Africa of my dream is to build today a better future for Africa tomorrow  in which there is inclusive and sustainable industrial development by ensuring that higher standard of livelihood is significantly attained as a result of highly diversified industrial structure which engages human and mechanical resources in the transformation of raw materials into consumer goods where global competitiveness, environmentally sustainable with equal opportunities and decent living standards for all.  The dream of Africa with increase of per capita income and consumption, capable of designing and implementing machines mostly technological innovations and are  considered essential for accelerating it's industrialization and maintains full employment at a rising level of productivity with increase potential for poverty reduction with youths as prime actors and driver in achieving an inclusive and resilient growth of the continent in the industrial and economic developmental efforts.

Indeed,  a diversified industrial structure  and revolution in  African continent has always been my hopes and dreams-The Pan-African expectations of a successfully shifted notion of  producing raw materials into manufacturing to compete in the export market.

Insightfully, an industrial developed nation where  mining of our abundant  natural resources such as Uranium, cold, diamond, copper, coal and many other natural resources on a massive industrial scale are  transform into finished goods and the mining sector will become a key component of a diversified, vibrant and globally competitive industrializing African economy factor by capitalizing on the continent’s abundant natural resources

An  industrally developed Africa where large scale production increases and adds  value to the economy and double its industrial GDP, thus reaching 1.72 trillion USD  and increasing the continental GDP to 5.62 trillion USD and per capita GDP to 3368 USD, by developing the entire production chain from raw materials to finished products.

A continent where we can freely thrive for industrial development and be sure that there won't be any form of discrimination on the grounds of ethnicity, quality infrastructure, good roads, religion, wealth or status. A continent where both the rich and the poor can thrive favorably, respecting their individual differences without the unfair suppression of one over the other.

Consequentially, building a continent where  productivity is stimulated  by introducing new devices and leading-edge technologies; where local fabrication and production of machinery is encouraged to feed the technological needs of these industries, taking advantage of the presence of small scale industries and fabrication enterprises for designing  and fabrication of machines locally using local content to achieve faster  as well as sustainable accomplishment at minimum possible cost. Thus, enhancing the skills of the workforce and spreading the economic improvements as well facilitate  development in innovative and smart materials production.

Critically, many small and medium scale capital goods shops  catering for the needs of the people is the only way out of recession and economic instability that many nations are finding themselves today by ensuring that more goods will be available for local consumption  and improves the trade balances by reducing imports through the creation of export goods and eradicating poverty in all its forms and dimensions.

Solicitously, Africa where the youth are a huge demographic dividend  and are uniquely poised to bring innovation and drive engendering socioeconomic development with boisterous investment in the energy, drive, passion  in many young people so as to curtail the increase in crimes and other related social evils. In a nutshell, Africa where adequate opportunities can be provided to curb the heightened youth unemployment and other unfortunate vices associated with it.

Summatively, I envision a continent that is dynamic and prosperous where there is availability of technologies with capacity for large scale productions, existence of a wide range of raw materials used for production purposes, abundance of complex technical division of labour supporting production, presence of complex cooperation and coordination of specialized tasks aiding production, and the availability of Catholic but relevant industrial skills within the nation's workforce and leads to the heavy dependences on  mass production of goods and services  in which the exploitation of resources, the direction of investments, the orientation of technological development; and institutional changes are all in harmony in order to enhance both current and future potential to meet human needs and aspirations; including but not limited to the worth and values of  all individuals, giving equal access and opportunity to all and removing discrimination and other barriers to involvement and functional participation.

Hence, in corroboration with the future, for this to happen, there ought to be a robust conceptualization of  economic production policies which strategies shall provide special economic zones specifically Nigeria for the West, South Africa for the south, Algeria for the North and Kenya for the East supporting quality infrastructure, standard development, research, effective financial mechanisms,  trade and services which could help in maintaining sustainable fiscal balances such as upgrading productive capacities, increasing technological transfer and institutional capabilities, prioritising strategic industrial sectors.

To this end, I envision an African nation where inclusive industrial development will be a functional participation of all regions of the continent with active involvement of all and sundry.

Long live the Federal Republic of Nigeria!!
Long live the most populous black nation in the world.
Long live Africa, the second largest continent in the World.
